Boycott Reports
These two reports outline (1) the extent of official collaborations between Swedish and Israeli universities, (2) the close relation between Israeli academia and the Israeli Defence Forces, and the proximity of academic institutions to war crimes (including genocide), crimes against humanity, and the increasing dispossession of Palestinians, (3) the legal and ethical obligations Swedish universities are under to distance themselves from war crimes, scholasticide, and other forms of institutional and state violence, and (4) the means by which Swedish universities can remedy their involvement in this violence.
Our report has two fundamental demands to Swedish universities: cut ties with Israeli institutions, and begin collaborations with Palestinian institutions.
Many people all over Sweden conducted the research for this report from 2023 to 2025. This research was first written as a report in summer 2024 by members of WASSAP, then rewritten in an updated version and released in October 2025. The report is free to download and distribute.
Censorship Report
This report presents the preliminary findings of reported censorship and silencing of Palestinian support at Swedish higher education institutions. Most of the incidents that were reported concerned events after October 2023, and specifically, attempts to raise the question and facilitate discourse on Palestine and the ongoing genocide within the official infrastructure of the university.
